Garyline files $18.7M plans for build-out of 260K sf storage building in Hunts Point
On December 23, the commercial manufacturing company Garyline filed a permit application for an $18.7 million tenant build-out of a 260,000-square-foot storage building at 1340 Viele Avenue in Hunts Point.
The plans call for work on the ground floor, mezzanine, roof, and space outside of the 23-foot tall, one-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing for tenants build-out with new place of assembly for employee break room. All trades filed separately as shown on drawings filed herewith. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $18,671,493.
According to the plans, the project will create assembly space in the form of an employee break room.
The building is currently used for the Gary Plastic Packaging Corp.
