Galaxy General Contracting Corporation receives TCO for 25-unit mixed-use building in Morrisania
Galaxy General Contracting Corporation, on November 4, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy following construction of a 25-unit, 26,564-square-foot mixed-use building at 603 Jackson Avenue in Morrisania.
The plans, pre-filed on June 4, 2015, call for the construction of a 63-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new seven-story, 25-unit residential building with retail on first floor and community facility on second floor.
The building’s cellar has commercial storage space and a laundry room, according to the plans. The ground floor has commercial space and a residential lobby, while the second floor has a community facility. Floors three through seven each have five dwelling units, the third floor also has an outdoor recreation space.
OCV Architects was listed as the architect for the project.
The property was acquired for $565,000 in 2014.
