Gadi Ben Hamo pays $10M for retail in Jamaica

Gadi Ben Hamo through the entity 26 Hillside Realty, LLC paid $10 million to Sandra Halpern and others for industrial (G8) at 144-20 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, Queens and retail building (GU) at 144-02 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, Queens.
The deal closed on April 15, 2021 and was recorded on April 27, 2021.
The contract date was September 29, 2020. Ben Hamo and Meyer Chetrit filed a lawsuit this month stating an intention to foreclose on 11 parcels in Jamaica several blocks east along Hillside Boulevard including 153-10 Hillside Avenue.
The two properties have 3,294 square feet of built space and 71,339 square feet of additional air rights for a total buildable of 74,707 square feet according to PincusCo analysis of city data. The sale price per built square foot is $3,035 and the price per buildable square foot is $133 per the PincusCo analysis.
The signatory for Sandra Halpern was Sandra Halpern. The signatory for Gadi Ben Hamo was Gadi Ben Hamo.
