Francis Leung files plans for 33-unit mixed-use building in Gowanus

Francis Leung through FKAL Management, on June 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 33-unit, 26,138-square-foot mixed-use building at 284 4th Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

There have been 39 new building plans, including these, filed in Gowanus in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 98-foot-tall, 10-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00751849.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 40 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: filing 10-story mixed-use building with 33 dwelling units, including inclusionary housing.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and commercial space. Floors two through seven will each have four dwelling units per floor, while floors eight through 10 will each have three dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreational space.

The architect listed is Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects S.

The property was acquired for $5 million on April 30, 2019.
