Foxy Management to demolish building in Morrisania, ahead of 150-unit development

Jeff Fox’s Foxy Management, on November 30, was given a permit for the demolition of a 13,950-square-foot building at 1330 Clinton Avenue in Morrisania.

The plans, pre-filed on October 7, 2020, call for the demolition of the building.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of high one-story structure, using hand held and mechanical means to assist.

The demolition will clear the way for a 150-unit, 83,678-square-foot residential building the developer is planning at 1323 Boston Road. The plans, pre-filed on May 7 of this year, are currently awaiting permits.

The ground floor of the new building will have six apartments, according to plans. Floors two through six will have 23 apartments each, the seventh floor will have 19 apartments, and the eighth floor will have 10 apartments.

The firm also developed the mixed-use 1880 Boston Road project. The building has 133,812-square-feet of residential space, 32,415-square-feet of community facilities, and 2,300-square-feet of retail.

The property was acquired with 2 other properties for $3.5 million on April 30, 2019.
