Camber, Property Resources Corp. receive TCO for 161-unit resi building in Morrisania

Camber Property Group and Property Resources Corp., on November 30, were issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 161-unit, 130,538-square-foot residential building at 975 Tiffany Street in Morrisania.

The plans, pre-filed on September 27, 2017, call for the construction of a 78-foot tall, eight-story residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and three months.

The project is described in the filings as: filing of an eight-story residential new building.

The cellar of the building has a fitness center and community center, per the plans. The ground floor has a lobby and 19 dwelling units. Floors three through seven each have 21 dwelling units per floor, while the eighth floor has 17 dwelling units. The building also has a 12,844-square-foot outdoor recreation space.

Ricardo Taborga Architect was in charge of the design, while Peter Clements Architect, P.C. was originally listed as the architect.

The building is 100 percent affordable housing. The development duo have worked together on other affordable projects in the past, such as 1000 Fox Street, an eight-story, 120-unit affordable development, and 960 Simpson Street, a six-story, 80-unit development.

An affordable lottery opened for 126 affordable apartments in the building in July.
