Foxy Management permitted for 150-unit resi building in Morrisania

Jeff Fox’s Foxy Management, on July 9, was given a permit for construction of a 150-unit, 83,678-square-foot residential building at 1323 Boston Road in Morrisania, the Bronx.

Both foundation and new building permits were issued.

The plans, pre-filed on May 7, 2020, call for the construction of an 80-foot tall, eight-story, 83,678-square-foot residential building with 150 residential units.

The project is described in the filings as: filing to erect an eight-story residential new building.

The ground floor of the new building will have six apartments, according to plans. Floors two through six will have 23 apartments each, the seventh floor will have 19 apartments, and the eighth floor will have 10 apartments.

Demolition plans were filed in November of last year.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $3.5 million on April 30, 2019.

Last month, Moses Freund filed a permit application for construction of a 73-unit, 53,929-square-foot mixed-use building at 1420 Stebbins Avenue in Morrisania. Other recent activity includes plans for a 23-unit, 10,141-square-foot residential building at 689 East 223rd Street.
