Bluesky Builders files plans for 69-unit resi building in Tremont

Hershy Silberstein’s Bluesky Builders, on July 9, filed a permit application for construction of a 69-unit, 42,926-square-foot building at 2136 Honeywell Avenue in Tremont, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 65-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00554868. The development site spans eight tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have four dwelling units while floors two through six will each have 13 dwelling units per floor.

The architect listed is Kao Hwa Lee Architects PC.

The estimated job cost is $4,938,500.

Recent plans in the neighborhood include plans for construction of a 59-unit, 35,989-square-foot residential building at 1771 Weeks Avenue and plans for construction of a 44-unit, 25,861-square-foot residential building at 106 Mount Hope Place.
