Fosun files plans for $6.8M multi-floor rehab of 28 Liberty
Fosun International, on December 9, filed a permit application for a $6.8 million rehabilitation of three floors of 28 Liberty Street in the Financial District. The Chinese conglomerate and investment company acquired the building for $725 million in December of 2013.
The plans call for a rehab of floors 37, 38 and 56 of the 770-foot tall, 60-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation of the 37th floor, 38th floor and 56th floor as per plans filed herewith. Updates on interior layout, no change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,802,927.
These are the seventh plans filed so far this month alone by the firm at the property.
