Fetner Properties files plans for 171-unit mixed-use building in UWS
Fetner Properties, on March 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 171-unit, 124,591-square-foot residential building at 270 West 96th Street in the Upper West Side. Hal Fetner, president and CEO of the firm, filed the plans.
PincusCo first reported in 2019 that Fetner planned to build the tower, which is to have micro units as well as 68 affordable units.
The plans call for the construction of a 235-foot tall, 23-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: installation of a 23-story new building as per plans filed herewith.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and community facility space. The second floor will have laundry, one dwelling unit, and an amenity lounge and terrace. Floors three through seven will each have 16 dwelling units per floor, floors eight through 15 will each have seven dwelling units per floor, the 16th floor will have six dwelling units, and floors 17 through 23 will each have three dwelling units per floor. The roof will have an amenity deck. The cellar will have a health club and community facility.
SLCE Architects is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans have not yet been filed.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
