Facebook files plans for $75.8M of work at Related’s 50 Hudson Yards
Facebook, on January 7, filed plans for $75.8 million of work at 415 Tenth Avenue, known as 50 Hudson Yards, in Hudson Yards. The building is owned by Related Companies.
In late 2019, Facebook confirmed that it would be leasing more than 1.5 million square feet of office space across 30 floors and three buildings at Hudson Yards: 1.2 million square feet in 50 Hudson Yards; 265,000 square feet in 30 Hudson Yards; and 57,000 square feet in 55 Hudson Yards.
In the previous 12 months there have been $323.7 million worth of alteration plans filed at the building. These January 7 plans have the most expensive initial cost of the 68 plans filed during the period.
The social media conglomerate recently filled three plans for a total of $18.4 million in build-outs at the building.
These plans call for work on floors 33, 35 through 41, and 43 (tenant levels 53, 55 through 61, and 63) of the 1,011-foot-tall, 58-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00627894.
The project is described in the filing as: installation of non load bearing partitions as per plans. No change in use, egress or occupancy. Construction floors 33, 35-41, 43 (tenant levels 53, 55-61, 63).
