EJS files plans plans for demolition of five-story Lenox Hill building, no NB plans filed

EJS Group, on December 6, filed a permit application for the demolition of a five-story, 11,600-square-foot building at 1303 Third Avenue in Lenox Hill. Melissa Cohen, a director with EJS filed the plans.

The firm, which was founded by Ted Segal, purchased the parcels in three separate transactions from Gastonia Properties for a total of $32.35 million in March.

No new building plans have been filed yet in either BIS Web or DOB Now. It is unclear what the developer plans to do with the site.

Back in May, the developer filed three permit applications for the demolition of three rental buildings at 1305 Third Avenue, 1307 Third Avenue, and 202 East 75th Street in Lenox Hill.

The plans call for the demolition of a five-story building.

The property was acquired for $12.9 million on March 4, 2021.
