Edge Fund Advisors files plans for $9.4M build-out for Schrödinger in Times Square
Edge Fund Advisors filed plans for a $9.4 million build-out for Schrödinger Inc. at the former Bertelsmann Building, located at 1540 Broadway in Times Square, Manhattan.
The pharmaceutical software developer signed a lease for nearly 109,000 square feet of space, spanning floors 21 through 24, in the building last month. According to the New York Post it was the largest new office lease commitment signed so far this year.
The plans call for rehab of floors 18 through 21 of the 676-foot tall, 42-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00502668. However, the project description states the work will be occurring on floors 21 through 24.
The project is described in the filings as: general construction to take place on floors 21 through 24 as per drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy.
