Chang Qing Lin permitted for 24-unit mixed-use building in East Williamsburg
Chang Qing Lin through the company 97-101 LLC, on May 10, was given a permit for construction of a 24-unit, 22,196-square-foot mixed-use building at 21 Meserole Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The permit issued was a plumbing permit. The developer received initial new building and foundation permits earlier this year.
The plans, pre-filed on November 27, 2018, call for the construction of a 55-foot tall, five-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new five-story building with cellar for community facility and residential use.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a day care center and a residential lobby. Floors two through four will each have seven dwelling units per floor, while the fifth floor will have three dwelling units. The roof will have a recreation space and the cellar will have parking for 12 cars and a utility room.
HPL Engineering P.C. is listed as the architect.
No demolition plans have been filed and an estimated completion date has not been announced.
The property was acquired for $1.1 million on October 26, 2017.
