NYCHA files plans for $7.2M single-floor rehab of resi building in East Harlem
The New York City Housing Authority filed plans for a $7.2 million rehabilitation of the cellar at 2130 Madison Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan.
The plans call for the removal of boilers and pipes in the building’s cellar, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00492424.
The project is described in the filings as: remove existing boilers and burners along with associated supports, controls, and control wiring. Remove blowdown piping, safeties, and controls in its entirety. Remove associated LPS and LPR piping with exception of LPS header. Cap disconnected piping.
Herbert Kunstadt Associates PC is listed as the architect.
According to the plans, the new proposed boiler energy source will be gas.
The Class-A residential building has 123 residential units.
