Durst files plans for $12.2M in build-outs at two Times Square buildings
The Durst Organization, on December 16, filed plans for a $6.8M build-out for Akin Gump at 1 Bryant Park in Times Square, Manhattan.
The plans call for work on floors 41 and 42 of the 811-foot-tall, 55-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00628827.
The project is described in the filing as: interior demolition and construction for Akin Gump space on floors 41 and 42.
The architect listed is Gensler.
Other tenants include Bank of America, Marathon Asset Management, and the Roundabout Theatre Company.

On the same day, Durst filed plans for a $5.4M build-out of one floor for Shenkman Capital at 151 West 42nd Street in Times Square, Manhattan.
Just this month, Shenkman Capital Management signed a sublease for 26,000-square-feet of space in the building.
Back in June, the developer formally completed a $14.7 million fit-out for Nasdaq in the building.
The plans call for work on the 28th floor (marketing floor 29) of the 792-foot-tall, 52-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00636307.
The project is described in the filing as: General construction for Shenkman Capital on construction floor 28 (marketing floor 29).
The architect listed is Ted Moudis Associates.
