Bloomberg files plans for $9.9M multi-floor rehab at SL Green’s 919 Third Ave

Bloomberg, on December 17, filed plans for a $9.9M rehabilitation of several floors of a building at 919 Third Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan.

SL Green owns a majority sake of the building. Last year Bloomberg paid $36.1 million to Bloomingdales, Inc. for an interest in space in the 1.3-million-square foot building.

Back in April of this year, SL Green Realty formally completed a $24.7 million rehabilitation of several floors of the office tower.

The plans call for work on floors one and four through six of the 578-foot-tall, 47-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00606140.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction of 1st floor and 4th floor elevator cab areas, and modifications on floors 5 and 6 as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy.

The architect listed is Woods Bagot Architects, P.C.

The property was acquired with 277 other properties for $28.1 million on November 1, 2017.
