City permitted for 71-unit resi building in East New York
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development, on December 17, was given a permit for construction of a 71-unit, 40,403-square-foot residential building at 282 Hinsdale Street in East New York, Brooklyn.
The plans, pre-filed on April 28, 2020, call for the construction of an 82-foot tall, eight-story, 40,403-square-foot residential building with 71 residential units.
The project is described in the filings as: construct new eight-story building as per plans filed.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have two offices, a recreation room, and four dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have 11 dwelling units per floor, while floors seven and eight will each have six dwelling units. The cellar will have a recreation room, courtyard, and an office.
Mark Ginsberg of Curtis + Ginsberg Architects is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans were filed for the existing building at the site in April of last year.
