Dolly Williams files demo plans ahead of 80-unit mixed-use building in Gowanus

Dolly Williams, on May 5, filed a permit application for the demolition of a one-story building at 209 3rd Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

The developer, and long-time owner of the property, filed a permit application for construction of an 80-unit, 82,942-square-foot mixed-use building at the site this past February.

Below are zoning diagrams of the new development.

Dolly Williams is a member of the company Saira Properties LLC that owns the property. Additionally, Dolly Williams is the CEO and co-founder of A. Williams Construction.

There have been 40 demolition plans, including these, filed in Gowanus in the previous 12 months.

The plans, pre-filed on May 5, 2022, call for the demolition of a one-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of one story structure, using hand held equipment.
