Camber Property Group permitted for 128-unit mixed-use building in Bushwick

Rick Gropper’s Camber Property Group, on May 5, received a permit for construction of a 128-unit, 100,444-square-foot mixed-use building at 1601 Dekalb Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The building will have two towers.

The developer signed a 99-year lease with landlord Two Guys From Glendale Inc. valued at $15.5 million for the property, along with two others, in Bushwick back in 2020.

The plans, pre-filed on July 26, 2019, call for the construction of an 88-foot tall, nine-story mixed-use building.

The plans are described in the filing as: construct new nine-story mixed-use building as per plans filed.

Per the plans, the ground floors of the towers will have residential lobbies and residential units. Additional dwelling units span the upper floors of both towers. The building swill also have recreation spaces and roof decks.
