Ditmas Management files plans to convert two apartment units into doctor’s office in Carnegie Hill
Ditmas Management, on April 29, filed a permit application for a $10,000 change in use of two dwelling units in the 57,130-square-foot residential building at 160 East 89th Street in Carnegie Hill.
The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of units in the 90-foot tall, 8-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: conversion of two ground-floor apartments into one doctor’s office; construction of new partitions; demolition filed and approved under job #123876920. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $10,000.
The rehab would change the total number of dwelling units in the ground floor from seven to five.
The property was acquired for $55.1 million on October 30, 2018.
