In the previous 12 months there have been seven new building plans filed in Sunset Park.
The plans, pre-filed on July 24, 2020, call for the construction of a 26-foot tall, two-story, 175,308-square-foot building.
The project is described in the filings as: construct new two-story commercial use building as per plans filed.
The ground floor will have a warehouse, VMX service bay area, customer service area, C.S.A room, lobby, gate keeper room, accessory offices, break room, and storage space, per the plans filed. The second floor will have a conference room, accessory offices, audit room, lactation room, accessory parking for 157 vehicles, and storage space.
The property was acquired for $214.2 million on January 10, 2019. In July of 2018, the developer signed a contract with Bridge Development Partners to buy the 18-acre Sunset Industrial Park that had an asking price of roughly $300 million.
