TCO for 65K sf mixed-use building in Bed-Stuy, part of 301-unit, seven-building complex
Isaac Deutsch, Abraham Brach, and Nachman Leibowitz, on December 2, were issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 40-unit, 65,896-square-foot mixed-use building at 569 Marcy Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The building is part of a seven-building complex which will include 301-units (66 of which will be affordable), 118 parking spots, and a 20,000-square-foot grocery store.
The plans, pre-filed on December 8, 2014, call for the construction of a 101-foot tall, nine-story mixed-use building. The plans were filed by the property’s previous owner, Alliance Capital Group. The time from pre-file to TCO was six years.
The project is described in the filings as: propose nine-story mixed-use building as per plans.
The ground floor has a residential lobby and two retail spaces, per the plans. Floors two through nine each have five dwelling units per floor.
Diego Aguilera Architects was the architect for the development.
