Vincenzio Maimone receives TCO for 46-unit residential building in Kew Gardens

Vincenzio Maimone, on December 2, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 46-unit, 31,461-square-foot residential building at 83-67 116th Street in Kew Gardens.

The plans, pre-filed on February 18, 2016, call for the construction of a 80-foot tall, eight-story residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was four years and 10 months.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed eight-story apartment building.

The building’s cellar has storage space and a laundry room, per the plans. The ground floor has a residential lobby and three dwelling units. Floors two through four each have seven dwelling units per floor, floors five and six each have six dwelling units, and floors seven and eight each have five dwelling units. The building also has an accessible roof and three off-street parking spaces.

The building replaces several large, single-family homes between Curzon Road and 84th Avenue.

Bluarch Architecture was in charge of the design.

The property was acquired for $.9 million on September 2, 2015.
