Developer files to convert 2-family to 10-family in Williamsburg
Sam Rubin of Frontgate Management, on May 18, filed a permit application worth $315,855 with the Department of Buildings to convert a twp-family residential building to a 10-family residential building at 215 Montrose Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The plans call for an enlargement of the building, from 3,364 square feet to 7,019 square feet and from three stories to five stories. That will increase the height from 33 feet to 51 feet.
The plans are stated as: application filed herewith for vertical addition and interior renovations to existing three-story and cellar brick building.
The plans show that the ground floor of the building will change from retail to residential space. There will also be 300 square feet of residential recreation space added.
The work will be done by S&S Architectural Design LLC.
