Bartlett Dairy files plans for a 53K sf storage building adjacent to JFK

Michael Becht of Bartlett Dairy, through Jughandle Realty, LLC, filed a permit application on July 7 for construction of a 53,230-square-foot storage building at 161-02 Rockaway Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, adjacent to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The plans call for the construction of a 46-foot tall, 2-story building. It will be a dairy distribution center constructed on the JFK North Site, which is city-owned land.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new partial 2 story warehouse with accessory offices on vacant land as per plans.

The ground floor of the building will be used as a warehouse with accessory offices while the second floor will be used for office space, according to the plans.

The architect for the project will be H2M architects + engineers.
