Developer files plans for $1.6M rehab of Flushing retail building

Lawlin Realty Co. LLC, on July 27, filed a permit application for a $1.6 million rehab of a retail building at 40-28 Main Street in Flushing.

The plans call for a rehab of the cellar, first and second floors of the 25-foot tall, two-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: skate king – general construction inclusive of partial building demo, install partitions and storefront as per plans filed herewith. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,567,000.

The property was acquired for $6.3 million on March 5, 2010.
