Developer files plans for 55-unit resi building in Riverdale

Ramani Mariappan through the company 860 Investors LLC, on January 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 55-unit, 34,295-square-foot residential building at 3082 Villa Avenue in Riverdale, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story with cellar residential building. Mechanical, structural, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm and BPP will be filed separately.

The ground floor will have six dwelling units, per the plans filed. Floors two through eight will each have seven dwelling units per floor. The roof will have a recreation area.

VS Consulting Engineering is listed as the applicant of record and Royal Expediting is listed as the filing representative.

The property was acquired for $575,000 on November 29, 2018.

Demolition plans were filed in July of last year.
