Developer files plans for 48-unit mixed-use building in Morrisania
Mark Shakarov through the company 1281 Hoe Avenue LLC, on October 22, filed a permit application for construction of a 48-unit, 24,305-square-foot mixed-use building at 1281 Hoe Avenue in Morrisania, the Bronx.
The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed eight-story, mixed-use, new building with forty eight dwelling units and community facility on the ground floor.
The ground floor of the building will have a lobby, recreation room, and an ambulatory diagnostic center, per the plans. The second floor will have six dwelling units, while floors three through eight will each have seven dwelling units per floor.
Gerald J. Caliendo, R.A, A.I.A Architect is the architect listed.
Demolition plans were filed last month to demolish the one-story building that occupies the property.
