Developer files plans for 34-unit mixed-use building in Woodhaven

Ding Yin Yu through the company SMD Realty Inc., on December 9, filed a permit application for construction of a 34-unit, 27,078-square-foot mixed-use building at 84-14 Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven, Queens.

The plans call for the construction of a 73-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed seven-story mix-used new building.

The building’s cellar will have 13 parking spaces and storage space, per the plans. The ground floor will have a lobby and two retail space. Floors two through six will each have six dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have four dwelling units.

Michael Kang Architect will be behind the design.

No demolition plans have been filed yet.
