Long-time Gowanus owners file plans for 73-unit building with brewery space, in nabe
Long-time commercial owners in Gowanus, on December 1, filed a permit application for construction of a 73-unit, 77,383-square-foot building at 335 Bond Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Robert Slinin, senior VP of Corporate Transportation Group, Ltd., filed the plans. The company owns and operates limousines and other rental vehicles.
These have now been 19 new building plans filed in Gowanus this year. The plans combined call for the construction of 3,150 new dwelling units in the neighborhood.
These plans call for the construction of a 155-foot-tall, 14-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00600073. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: filing to erect a new 14-story mixed-use building. Affordable housing. This NB is located within the Gowanus rezoning area and is pursuing FO approval/permit for 421A.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, brewery, and commercial space. The second floor will have four dwelling units, recreation space and commercial space. Floors three through five will each have 11 dwelling units per floor. The sixth floor will have three dwelling units, recreation space, and an outdoor deck. The seventh floor will have three dwelling units, and floors eight through 13 will each have five dwelling units per floor. The 14th floor will have a recreation room and deck.
