Penthouse owner finishes $5.4M build-out of Yorkville condo

The owner of unit of penthouse PHB on September 28, formally completed a $5.4 million rehabilitation at the Corigin Real Estate Group-developed condominium at 20 East End Avenue in Yorkville.

The plans, pre-filed on February 20, 2019, call for a rehab of one of the penthouse condos in the 210-foot tall, 17-story, building. The company Sakonnet Holdings LLC bought the unit for $26.3 million in April 2018.

The project is described in the filings as: penthouse #B, erect minor interior partitions, new finishes. No change in egress, occupancy or use. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $5,420,100.

The Robert A.M. Stern designed condo has two penthouses. The condominium, whose principal sponsor is Edward Baquero, has a current sellout price of $404,740,000 with the NYC Attorney General.
