John Russo submits 20-unit condo plan in Bushwick
On July 19, a condominium plan was submitted by the entity Bleeker Street Gardens LLC for 20 residential units at 23 Bleecker Street in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The condo plan, CD210206, does not have a sellout price listed with the New York State Attorney General. John Russo is listed as the Managing Member.
In March of 2013, Joe Scarpanito filed new building plans calling for the construction of an 55-foot tall, five-story, 16,115-square-foot residential building with 20 dwelling units at the site. The plans received permits that July.
The architect listed is Karl Fischer.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, laundry and two dwelling units. Floors two through four will each have five dwelling units per floor, while the fifth floor will have three dwelling units. The roof will have exterior recreation space and terraces. The cellar will have storage space and the building will have 10 off-street parking spaces.
According to city records, the property was acquired for just over $1 million in May of 2013.
Other active plans in the neighborhood include The Horizon Groups plans for construction of a 39-unit, 25,876-square-foot residential building at 378 Weirfield Street in Bushwick, which were permitted on April 1.
