Mohammed Islam files plans for 25-unit resi building in Astoria

Mohammed Islam, on July 26, filed a permit application for construction of a 25-unit, 24,227-square-foot residential building at 31-48 Crescent Street in Astoria, Queens.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00536309. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, recreation room, and two dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have four dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have three dwelling units. The roof will have recreation space and the cellar will have parking for 13 cars.

The architect listed is C3D Architecture PLLC.

The estimated job cost is $6,000,000.

Other active developments in the neighborhood include AKI Development’s plans for construction of a 22-unit, 15,271-square-foot residential building at 26-12 4th Street and Nicholas Notias’ plans for construction of a 20-unit, 15,638-square-foot residential building at 28-15 35th Street. Both plans were given permits for construction recently.
