Robert Slinin seeks to up mixed-use Gowanus project to 100 units
Robert Slinin through E&M Realty Corp. is seeking to increase the number of residential unit at a Gowanus, Brooklyn, project from 73 units to 100 units, and is seeking a City Planning Commission Chair Certification pursuant to ZR 62-811(a) that no waterfront public access area or visual corridor is required to develop the 77,400-square-foot mixed-use project at 335 Bond Street.
The developer filed new building plans for the construction of a 155-foot-tall, 14-story, 77,383-square-foot building with 73 units at the site in December of last year. However, these plans indicate the building will now have 100 dwelling units.
According to the plans, 25 of the dwelling units would be permanently affordable at an average 60% of the Area Median Income. Approximately 68,112-square-feet of floor area would comprise of residential use, approximately 4,644-square-feet would comprise of non-residential uses, and approximately 4,644-square-feet of floor area would be comprised of Gowanus mixed uses.
According to the original plans, the building will have a brewery, and commercial space.
