HPD files plans to demolish four buildings in Chelsea

The Department of Housing Preservation and Development, on May 20, filed four permit applications for the demolition of four buildings at 201-207 Seventh Avenue at West 22nd Street in Chelsea, Manhattan.

Each of the four buildings is a 52-foot-tall structure with four residential units.

No new building plans have been filed yet in either BIS Web or DOB Now. However, Yimby reported that HPD has proposed a co-op building with 26 residential units and three commercial units at the site.

The first plans call for the demolition of a five-story building at 201 Seventh Avenue.
