City files plans for construction of a 233-unit building, most units in Brownsville in 12 months
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development, on February 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 233-unit, 203,611-square-foot building at 97 Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Rona Reodica of HPD filed the plans. The apartments will be used for “adult homes”, according to the plans.
The plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in Brownsville in the previous 12 months, according to an analysis of new building plans with the NYC DOB.
The estimated job cost is listed as $39,082,384.
The plans call for the construction of a 111-foot-tall, 11-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00663906. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: filing new building herewith.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have business areas, assembly space, and residential space. The dwelling units, which are listed as adult homes, are not broken out by floor in the plans.
