City files plans for $4M exterior rehab of building in Washington Heights

The New York City Housing Authority, on October 28, filed plans for a $4 million rehabilitation of a building’s exterior at 1970 Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights, Manhattan.

The plans call for work on the exterior of the 13-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00548238.

The project is described in the filing as: Repair of damage to existing exterior brick and installation of new cladding as shown on plans. No change to use, egress, or occupancy
