City files plans for $5.5M rehab of Jackson Heights charter school

New York City School Construction Authority, on February 1, filed plans for a $5.5M rehabilitation of a school building at 35-59 81st Street in Jackson Heights, Queens. The project calls for work on the roof and VAVs.

The school is known as the Renaissance Charter School.

The plans call for work on the roof of the building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00662308.

The project is described in the filing as: replacing of existing 15 rooftop Units in same location. Replacing of existing VAVs in same location. Upgrading existing BMS.
