City files plans for $12M rehab of Park Slope school
New York City School Construction Authority, on April 5, filed a permit application for a $12 million exterior rehabilitation of a school building at 511 7th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
The plans, pre-filed on April 5, 2021, call for work on all floors, the cellar, roof, and space outside of the 65-foot tall, four-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: K010-replace parapets, roof, windows, face brick including lintels with new. Repair spandrel and columns, window guards. Replace exterior stair. sidewalk and vault replacement. Plaster and paint. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $12,000,000.
The NYC SCA will also be the architect.
