NYCHA files plans for $12.2M project to convert Carnegie Hill building from steam to gas heating

The New York City Housing Authority, on July 26, filed plans for a $12.2 million rehab of a building’s basement at 60 East 102nd Street in Carnegie Hill, Manhattan.

The plans call for a rehab of the 137-foot-tall, 16-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00559646.

The project is described in the filing as: work related to disconnection and removal of existing steam-heated domestic hot water heaters and existing boilers, and replacement with new natural-gas-fired domestic HWHs and new boiler plant.

The architect listed is STV Incorporated.
