Cheskie Weisz files plans for 82-unit mixed-use building on recently acquired LIC site

Cheskie Weisz of CW Realty, on December 23, filed a permit application for construction of an 82-unit, 58,291-square-foot mixed-use building at 26-04 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Weisz acquired control of the two-parcel site in September, when he signed a 49-year ground lease with the property owners, as PincusCo reported at the time.

The plans call for the construction of a 150-foot tall, 13-story mixed-use building. Weisz was the owner representative on the filing, although his last name was spelled Weiss.

The project is described in the filings as: proposing a 13-story mixed-use building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space. Floors two through 12 will each have seven dwelling units per floor, while the 13th floor will have five dwelling units and a private terrace.

No demolition plans have been filed yet.

MHM Engineering, P.C. is the architect for the project.
