Charles Schwartz files plans for two buildings with a combined 57 units in East Morrisania

Charles Schwartz through the company CNC Developers, on March 23, filed two permit applications for the construction of a 29-unit, 17,243-square-foot residential building at 1395 Bristow Street and a 28-unit, 16,828-square-foot residential building at 806 East 170th Street in East Morrisania, Bronx.

In the previous 12 months there have been 17 new building plans, including these two, filed in the neighborhood.

The first plans call for the construction of a 54-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00699014. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new four-story and penthouse and cellar 29 unit, residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have recreation space and three dwelling units. Floors two through four will each have eight dwelling units and recreation space per floor, the penthouse will have two dwelling units and recreation space.

The second plans call for the construction of a 74-foot-tall, eight-story building at 806 East 170th Street and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00696576. The development site spans two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: Proposed new eight-story, 28 unit, residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have utility space. Floors two though seven will each have four dwelling units per floor.
