Plans filed for 14-unit resi building in Astoria
Die Chen through the company CMZ Properties Group, LLC, on May 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 14-unit 10,007-square-foot residential building at 31-18 30th Street in Astoria, Queens.
The plans call for the construction of a 55-foot tall, five-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number Q00494799. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed new five-story residential building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, recreation space, and one dwelling unit. Floors two and three will each have four dwelling units per floor, the fourth floor will have three dwelling units, while the fifth floor will have two dwelling units.
Demolition plans were filed in February for a single-story garage occupying the property. The plans have not been permitted yet.
The property was acquired with two other properties for $2.6 million on August 12, 2020.
