BWH Group permitted for construction of 19K sf retail building in Sheepshead Bay
Anatoly Grinshteyn of BWH Group, on September 30, was given permits for construction of a 19,944-square-foot retail and school building at 3025 Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay. The developer was issued initial new building (NB) and foundation (FO) permits.
The plans, pre-filed on May 22, 2019, call for the construction of a 35-foot tall, three-story retail building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed three-stories and cellar new building.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial space, while the second and third floors will be used for a school for students ages 6 through 16. The building’s cellar will have parking for 29 cars, while the roof will provide a play area space.
Felix Pustylnik is listed as the architect on the filing.
The single story building that had occupied the property was demolished in November of 2019.
The property was acquired for $2.3 million on March 28, 2019.
