Builders Group USA files plans for enlargement of two-unit building to 20-unit building in Kingsbridge Heights

Yitzi Salamon’s Builders Group USA Inc., on April 11, filed plans for a vertical enlargement of a residential building at at 2773 Reservoir Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights, the Bronx. The project will convert the existing two-unit building into a 20-unit building.

Last month, the developer filed similar plans at 135 Marcy Place in Longwood Melrose. Those plans called for the enlargement of a two-unit residential building to a 25-unit residential building.

The plans call for the increase in size of the building from a 32-foot tall, two-story building with two dwelling units to a 54-foot tall, five-story building with 20 dwelling units. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00712501.

The project is described in the filing as: application filed herewith to propose the following:- horizontal enlargement at the second floor- two-story vertical enlargement with a penthouse and bulk head- increase dwelling units to 20, obtain new certificate of occupancy.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have four dwelling units. The second floor will have four dwelling units, floors three and four will each have five dwelling units, and the penthouse will have one dwelling unit. The basement will have one dwelling unit and the cellar will have recreation space.
