BRP Companies receives TCO for 539-unit mixed-use building in Jamaica

BRP Companies, on October, 30 was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 539-unit, 486,087-square-foot residential building at 147-40 Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens.

The plans, pre-filed on June 29, 2015, call for the construction of a 290-foot tall, 29-story mixed-use building. The time from pre-file to TCO was five years and five months. BRP co-founder Meredith Marshall was the owner representative on the filing.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed 29-story mixed-use building.

The ground floor has several retail spaces, a residential mailroom, and lobby, according to the plans. The second floor has attended parking for 186 cars. The fourth floor has 17 dwelling units, a laundry room, terrace, playroom, lounge, fitness room, and leasing suite. Floors five through 26 each have 22 dwelling units per floor. floors 27 and 28 each have 19 dwelling units and a terrace, the 27th floor also has a lounge. The 29th floor is used as an outdoor terrace.
