Brookfield permitted for $1.6M single-floor rehab at Brookfield Place

Brookfield Properties, on November 2, was given a permit for a $1.6 million rehabilitation of one floor of their office building at 200 Liberty Street, within the Brookfield Place complex, in Battery Park City.

The plans, pre-filed in May, call for a rehab of the 10th floor of the 516-foot tall, 39-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation to existing office space. Includes the installation and demolition of non-load-bearing partitions and related finishes. No changes in egress, use, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,602,683.

TPG Architecture, LLP is the architect behind the project.

The developer has filed 14 A1/A2 rehab plans at the building so far this year.
