Brookfield finishes $11.2M single-floor rehab at 1 New York Plaza
Brookfield Properties, on August 5, formally completed an $11.2 million rehabilitation of one floor of 1 New York Plaza in the Financial District.
The plans, pre-filed on September 5, 2018, call for a rehab of the 10th floor of the 640-foot tall, 50-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and finishes as per plans filed herewith. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $11,200,000.
Gensler was the architect responsible for the renovation.
Last month Brookfield filed a permit application for a $10.4 million rehabilitation of the fifth floor of the building, which China Investment Corp has a 49 percent stake of.
The developer has filed three A2 renovation plans, including the July plans, so far in 2020.
