Brookfield finishes $9.5M single-floor rehab at 1 New York Plaza

Brookfield Properties, on November 9, formally completed a $9.5 million rehabilitation of one floor at 1 New York Plaza in the Financial District.

The plans, pre-filed on March 14, 2019, call for a rehab of the 16th floor of the 640-foot tall, 50-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, occupancy or egress. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $9,500,000.

Gensler was the architect for the project.

Back in August, the developer completed an $11.2 million rehab of the 10th floor of the building.
